Countryside Adventure Prices: Book Early, Save Big!
As always, the earlier you book your Countryside Adventure tickets, the more money you save; it’s as simple as that!
Prices vary across different events and can go up as the event date gets closer. The cheapest tickets do fly out fast too! Grab yours early to bag the best deals and avoid paying more on the gate.
Earlybird (14+ days ahead) – best value
Book more than two weeks in advance for our farm park school holiday events and you’ll unlock our Earlybird prices – the lowest we go!
Online (by 10pm the day before) – still cheaper
Missed the Earlybird window? You’ll still save when you book online before 10pm the day before your visit.
Gate (on the day) – highest price
Just turning up? You’re always welcome; just know that gate prices are higher and kick in from 10pm the day before.
Concessions, carers and a cost breakdown
One carer goes free when accompanying a paying child or adult whose Access Card features the +1 symbol.
Adult tickets cost less (let’s face it, parents, grandparents and guardians will be having fun, but probably not quite as much as the kids!).
Plus, there are no hidden extras – every farm park activity included in your ticket (though at some events, we do offer face painting for a nominal fee).
Remember, prices vary depending on the date and how early you book – but you’re always best booking online more than two weeks ahead of an event date.

About Countryside Adventure: how it all started
Since the 1920s, our family-run Over Farm has been known for fresh crops and rich farmland. Over the years we’ve diversified, opened our shop, run music festivals and hosted weddings – and during that time we realised our animals are very keen on attention, they certainly like being fussed and fed!
So around the same time our farmer Rees started having his own kids, we opened up our animal trail so that the public could come in and say hello to our ostriches, llamas and pigs.
From time to time, we couldn’t help offering visiting children a bumpy ride around the farm in our tractor trailer. And as word got out, we kept adding more fun things to keep kids entertained here. It wasn’t long before we realised we had a fully-blown farm park on our hands!
These days, we’re open most weekends, and our bouncy pillows are still just as beloved as they were that very first day we blew them up. Our menagerie of animals has grown, our quad train has got longer and in more recent years we’ve built enormous play areas and even a mini golf course. And we’re now using our roundhouse to host live shows and arts and crafts sessions at our special events and to store our fresh Christmas trees in winter.
There’s so much to do here now that you can make a full day of it, so if you’re looking for some fresh air fun to keep the kids entertained near Gloucester, use this page to find out more about what’s on at Over Farm’s Countryside Adventure.

Countryside Adventure FAQs
Want to know more about your experience at Countryside Adventure? Check out the FAQs below or click here to plan your day.
During the school holidays, absolutely! From February to October outside of holidays, we only open the Countryside Adventure for events and select weekends, so please always check the calendar before setting out.
Countryside Adventure opens at 10.00am and closes at 4.00pm.
We tweak this slightly for events, so may open at 9:30am and close at 4:30pm.
We strongly advise all visitors to book their tickets online before they travel.
This means you can take advantage of our online booking discount, and helps us to manage queueing times, staffing levels and venue capacity.
Your ticket price depends on when you book. Prices vary by date and demand, so booking earlier online gives better value.
Prices may increase as the event date approaches, and paying on the day at the gate is always the most expensive option.
For the best value, book online 14+ days in advance to access our school holiday events Earlybird prices.
Absolutely. We just ask that the child or adult you’re accompanying has the “+1” box ticked on their Access Card. This helps us make sure our free carer tickets are going to the people who really need them, and means we can keep offering this support to families who rely on it 💛
To keep things simple and fair for everyone, we now use the Access Card with the +1 symbol for visitors who need to bring a carer. It gives us one clear and consistent way to recognise access needs, instead of checking multiple documents at the gate, which wasn’t always easy and could put pressure on both guests and staff. Verification is handled privately and securely by an independent organisation, helping your visit start smoothly. There is a small cost to apply, and we understand it’s an extra step. Overall, it creates a straightforward process for anyone who needs carer support.
Yes. While we cannot offer refunds, we can transfer your booking to another date of the equivalent ticket price or less.
If you created an account at the point of checkout, you can log in HERE to alter your booking. Please note, the system will not allow this if you have booked a discounted ticket, and there will be a charge if the new ticket price is higher.
If you did not create an account, our team will be happy to alter your booking for you. To do this, please email us with your booking reference and the new date and time which you would like to move your visit to.
All of the above options may be subject to fees and ticket price increases.
Yes. We have ample on-site parking, all of which is free.
No, except for service dogs. Due to the large number of small children on site and the difficulty making sure that all canine companions are cleared up after, we have decided not to allow dogs into the Countryside Adventure.
They are however, more than welcome to visit our farm shop, Over Farm Market, though not the Café due to the small space.
Please note: if dogs are discovered left in cars on warm days the relevant authorities will be notified.
Yes! Bags of animal feed are available to buy at the admissions shed for £1 per bag. These specially formulated grass-based pellets are suitable for all four-legged creatures on our farm.
Please do not bring your own food for the animals.
Yes. We have lots of grassy areas and benches which can be used for picnics.
We also have catering outlets within the farm park and a café located inside our farm shop, Over Farm Market.
While we endeavour to create a suitable environment for all visitors to create fantastic memories, the nature of our site can present some challenges for wheelchair users.
Due to the rural nature of our destination, access pathways can be uneven, grassy and sometimes laid to large gravel.
We find that the majority of electric wheelchair users can navigate the site well, push-type chairs can be challenging.
All areas of the site are accessible by pushchair, although the uneven and sometimes gravel laid pathways may present a challenge to buggies with smaller wheels.
Pushchairs are not permitted on the tractor rides and must be left behind at the buggy park. Please be prepared to take all valuables with you.
Baby changing facilities are available within the accessible port-a-loo.
If you require hot water to warm bottles, please ask a member of our team in the catering unit.
We are a breastfeeding friendly site. If there is anything we can do to make you feel more comfortable while feeding your baby, please do let us know.
Please note: no eating or drinking, including breast feeding, is permitted around the Animal Trail. Please wash your hands with soap and water when leaving these areas, and before eating, drinking or feeding your baby.
Yes, please ask the team in the admissions hut for a hand stamp.
We do! Please speak to a member of our team if you would like to see the allergen information for any of our dishes. We also have vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options.
